Midway is 15 minutes from Lexington, Frankfort, Versailles & Georgetown. Midway is a beautiful, historic small community located in the northern section of Woodford County in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. Founded by the railroad company in 1830, the trains still run through it. This historical town is famous for it's restaurants and thoroughbred horse farms. Don't be surprised to come upon a hay or tobacco wagon meandering through the scenic byways. Midway University is located just outside the city limits.
